Contest Rules and Regulations

Celebrate your family!
from April 1, 2011 to April 29, 2011

1. To Enter

To be eligible to win the Celebrate your family! Contest , you must submit a story (no longer than 200 words)photograph or original artwork depicting what makes your family special along with a completed official entry form. Submissions can be done through an e-mail to contest@cisociety.com  or mailed to CI Society, P.O. Box 38540, 3299 Bayview Avenue, Toronto, Ontario, M2K 2Y5.

Entry forms can be found at the website www.cisociety.com

Contestants have until 11:59 pm (ET) April 21, 2010 to email or mail their entry.
Limit of one entry per person.
Entry forms become the property of the CI Society and will not be returned to Contestants.
The odds of winning a prize are directly related to the number of eligible entries.
No entry fee or purchase required.

2. Eligibility

Contest is open to Canadian residents 18 years of age and younger.  Any Contestant under the age of majority in his/her province or territory of residence at the date of participation in the Contest shall obtain his/her parents'/guardians' consent to enter in the Contest.

Directors, officers and employees of CI Society immediate family are not eligible to enter this Contest.

3. Procedure for Awarding Prizes

A random draw will be held April 29, 10:00 a.m. for each age category. At each draw, the first Contestant drawn shall be declared the winner, subject to responding to all the conditions described in these rules.

Each winner will be contacted by telephone or by e-mail following the draw. The CI Society will mail out the prize to winners.

4. Description of Prizes

One prize for kids age 5 – 9 KODAK EASYSHARE M530 Digital Cameras packages. Value over $100.
One prize for kids age 10 – 14 KODAK EASYSHARE M530 Digital Cameras packages. Value over $100.
One prize for kids age 15 - 18 KODAK EASYSHARE M530 Digital Cameras packages. Value over $100.

5. General Rules

5.2 Parents or guardians of individuals submitting entries, shall agree, to have their child’s first name only and entry submission, used publicly by the CI Society, free of charge. This includes reproduction of artwork and photographs and publication of stories within the CI Society’s newsletters, websites and print materials.

5.3 Parents or guardians of contestants by signing the entry form attest to their eligibility as stipulated in these rules and releasing the CI Society as well as its respective directors, officers and employees, from all liability for any damage or loss arising from participation in this Contest or from the awarding, acceptance or use of the prize.

5.4 The prize shall be accepted as is and may not be exchanged for an amount of money.

5.5 If the prize cannot be awarded as described in these rules, the CI Society and its respective directors, officers and employees, reserve the right to substitute a prize or prize component with another of comparable value.

5.6 Refusal to accept the prize releases the CI Society and its respective directors, officers and employees, of any obligation or responsibility toward the winner.

5.7 Should any Contestant make any false statement, he/she shall be automatically disqualified from the Contest.

5.8 The CI Society, and its respective directors, officers and employees, shall assume no liability resulting from losses, delays, mistaken addresses on mail or e-mail received, typographical errors, technical, computer or telephone malfunctions, loss or theft of computer or telephone data, damage to software or computer equipment, fraudulent calls or any other mistake.

5.9  All personal information, such as names, age, address, telephone number, and e-mail address, is collected solely for the use of the CI Society and will not be shared with third parties. By providing this information, all Contestants consent to it being used for the stated purposes.

5.10 By entering this Contest, Contestants agree to abide by the Contest rules which shall be applied by the CI Society. All its decisions are final.
